PASS Program

Welcome to the PASS (Promoting Achievement & Student Success) AmeriCorps program! PASS is designed as a leadership opportunity for students to gain new skills, improve their academic performance, and become a positive influence on the campus community. The PASS mentor provides individual and group mentoring sessions, discussions, tutoring, grades and attendance reviews, community service projects, guest speakers, and accompanies field trips.

Students who are enrolled in the PASS AmeriCorps program will receive individualized services that will prepare them to shine as a falcon and community member.

Meet the mentor:

Hello Falcons!

My name is Ms. Olivia. I’m thrilled to be serving a second year as the 2020 -2021 JMS PASS AmeriCorps mentor. I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and moved out to California last year. I believe that education provides a strong foundation for life! I’m looking forward to collaborating with the amazing JMS staff to help support our community. My role on campus is to be an additional recourse and act as a positive role model both inside the classroom and out. I am confident that we will have a successful school year!
